The local area is comprehensively covered by Ordinance Survey Pathfinder series: Map No. 1366 scale 1:25,000/ 2 1/2 inches to a mile OR Explorer Series: Map No. 105 scale 1:25,000 / 2 ½" to 1 mile.
From the farm it is just a stroll across the field to reach the villages of Gerrans or Portscatho or the coast, on the South West Coastal Footpath.
The South West Coastal Footpath runs through the land, which provides wonderful walks across parts of the countryside and hidden coves that one would never normally reach.
Public footpaths lead from the doorstep to the Percuil River and Place Manor where visitors can catch a ferry boat to St. Mawes and from there to Falmouth and Truro, with its 14 miles of manageable river, or follow paths to St. Anthony's Head with its lighthouse, birdwatching shelter and Second World War observation post and defences.
